Got this from Monica:
1. You have $10 and need to buy snacks at a gas station; what do you buy? Diet Coke and M&M’s
2. If you had to be reincarnated as some sort of sea dwelling creature, what would you be? a seahorse…so the men can carry the babies!
3. Who’s your favorite redhead? My sister, Nikki
Friday I was upset about something and TV Boy came over to me and asked what was wrong. He then looked at me and said, “Mama, I’d be so poor without you.”
How priceless is that!
*Yawn*…I’m so tired! The party with the 5 boys plus mine went pretty well. They enjoyed the surprise which was an Auburn basketball game. He wasn’t thrilled with that at first. TV Boy got to meet some cheerleaders and got his birthday announced during the game. After the game, we came back and they played. We did pizza for dinner and opened presents. They played more and then we did cupcakes. Through the night, they had some spats. 4 of the 5 kids spent the night so it made for an interesting evening. We let them watch a couple movies and they ate so much popcorn. It was crazy! I was so tired from getting up early and going to the math workshop that I went to bed after the first movie was over about 9:00. Around 1:00 I woke up and they were just going to bed. Mr. Mag, who stayed up with them, said he said they could stay up as late as they wanted as long as they stayed quiet and didn’t turn the light on. He said this thinking they were so tired they’d talk for a bit and then they’d fall asleep. Well, about 1:30 we were still hearing lots of noise (TV Boy’s bedroom is above our bedroom). It sounded like they were bouncing off the walls! We had to go up there a couple of times and get them to calm down.
Since they stayed up so late, we’re thinking surely they’ll sleep in…HAHAHAHA.! They were up at 7:00! I felt like heck when we got up. We made Sister Shubert’s Rolls for breakfast and the parents started coming to get the boys. TV Boy’s best friend stayed until about 4:00. We went to the AU baseball scrimage and to the park. Mr. Mag’s mom got here about 2:00. I’m exhausted and plan to go to sleep early tonight!
I keep thinking about this time 8 years ago…maybe I’ll tell that story later. Hope you enjoyed your weekend!

You can tell from all the stupid quizzes I’ve done lately I’ve been brain dead and haven’t had much to say. Monday is my older son’s 8th birthday…sheesh!! I can’t believe it. Nothing like waiting to the last minute! So I’ve spent my afternoon calling moms to invite their sons to come over for a party. Not only a party, but a ‘spend the night party’! Yes, I think I’ve gone CRAZY! They’re being dropped off at our house tomorrow before lunch and then, we’re headed to a surprise for TV Boy. The Moms know, but the boys don’t know because we wanted it to be a surprise. Oh, and did I mention I have a math workshop that I’m required to go to from 8 to 12? Yah, fun! This evening I’ve been cleaning, washing clothes, sheets, blankets, and making cupcakes. So the current count for boys we will have are my 2 boys plus 4 more! All spending the night…yah I think I’ve gone nuts!
Well, now that Delurking Week is over 🙁 , I thought I’d take the plung and do a Q & A week. That means you can ask me anything and I’ll answer it! Don’t be shy… I’d also like to thank all that delurked last week! That was really fun.

As far as your looks go, you’re coasting on what you were born with. You think fashion is silly. On weekends, you spend most of your time thinking, experimenting with new ideas, or learning new things. |
I’m sick to my stomach right now. My good friend, K, who I called to plan TV Boy’s birthday weekend with (her son is my son’s best friend) told me she had just been layed off. How SUCKY is that! I feel awful for her. She’s works for a decently large corporation, who is ‘restructuring’! I know she’ll be fine, but I don’t know what I would do if I were her.
Anyway, I’m not in a good mood so I’m going to bed 🙁
