Why am I so tired? All I’ve done all day is sit around and surf the web. I’ve been researching getting my own blog, once and for all! I’ll let you know when that happens. Anyway…I’m just tired as can be and it’s so annoying! It’s so bad it hurts to move! Ugh! I guess I’m getting old.
After lunch we went by T-baby’s daycare to remind them that he’d be back Monday. They’re like ohhh I bet he’s walking all over the place and I said Uh-no! So he’s going to be back in the same room he was back in May. I’m very upset by that! I could just cry. At the 15 month check up the doctor says not to worry and yada-yada-yada! But like most mom’s I want my child to succeed and be where “the world expects” him to be. At almost 17 month the world expects him to be WALKING!!! Dangit! Mr. T – I NEED YOU TO START WALKING!! Just for me! Please? Maybe he’ll get motivated by being around other kids. I don’t know… Can I cry now??????????????
Lunch was nice. We went to Shogun. You know how you sit at a table with like 5 others? Well we sat at a table with this guy, who talked on his cell phone. And no he wasn’t whispering. He was talking so loud we could hear everything he was saying. He was talking louder than if he were talking to some one at the table. I thought well when they come to cook he’ll stop. NO! But luckily when the food was done, he got off the phone and started eating. Thank goodness! How annoying was that!
Wow! It’s Friday and the my last day of relaxation. And has it been relaxing so far? No, I’ve been arguing with my 7 year old! It never fails! LOL! Oh well! So back to work August 1st and school starts August 8th. (We’ve been out since May 23rd.)
I was really anxious to get on Flickr this morning, but it’s “getting a massage”!! That’s frustrating!
Another thing, yesterday did my hair and felt really pretty and proud of how my hair turned out. My hubby gets home opens the door and sees me sitting on the couch and says, “You look different.”
Me: “Oh really? Why?” (very curious about his answer for this one!)
Him: “I don’t know. You just look different.”
Yah there was no, “Oh you look pretty”! or “OOO! You did your hair!” Or even, “What’s different? You look really nice!” Can anyone sympathize?
UGGHHHHHHHHHH! Men!!!
(((And if you’re reading this ROB….It’s ok! I love you!))
Well, I said today would be my no make-up, yucky hair day! Well, I decided to pamper myself. I took a bubble bath and enjoyed a couple minutes of peace while my 1 year old slept and my 7 year old watched TV. Then, I actually took time to do my hair and fix it like my aunt did only I flipped it out instead of in. I got the Chi Iron that she uses and it is amazing! It’s what they use in salons. If anyone out there has curly hair, it is a must have if you want it straight! This is from today!
Actually do you like it better flipped in (below) or out (above)? Anyone???
Here’s a couple pics I posted on flickr from last night. Mr. T was playing with the glasses.

Cool

2 more working days…then it’s the weekend…and then it’s back to the old grind and stress! Today I plan to lounge around, maybe clean a little bit and start wash. Today is my last “home workday” of no make-up, messy hair, t-shirts & shorts! Tomorrow Rob and the kids and I are going out for a nice lunch, probably Shogun. I also have to go by work and at least pick up my school t-shirt for this year. I might do some stuff in my class room…and then again, I may not! I plan to put make-up on and do my hair tomorrow and try to find something decent to wear! My goal of losing weight this summer fell through the cracks as it always seems to, so I’ll be wearing the same 5 outfits (no fitting into all my other clothes)! How depressing is that? Maybe I’ll go shopping this weekend..and maybe not!
Anyway for you poor soles that work year round…sorry for having to continue to drown you in my self-pity!
I love to watch the Travel Channel. The show Great Hotels is one that I just couldn’t LOVE, because the host, Samantha Brown, drove me nuts. I’ve been watching it more and she’s actually grown on me! I was watching Great Hotels on the Travel Channel the other day. Samantha was talking about all the great Florida Hotels. She went to a resort on Little Palm Island, which is very secluded and beautiful! I knew it would be really expensive, but of course she doesn’t give any hint about the price range. I just looked it up on their site and nearly choked on my muffin! Price per night is in the $1000’s not the $100’s! OUCH! One can dream…
Drew and I were talking about what age you have to be to do certain things. I mentioned something about being 18. He said, “Yah you have to be 18 to do a lot of things! Like buy something from the TV!”
