My CHILD!!!!!!!!

ACK! Why? Oh why? Does my child (the 17 month old) insist on throwing EVERYTHING away! He thinks throwing things away is so fun. He’s thrown away socks, toys, shoes, etc! Does he throw away trash? NO!! So we have to be careful and watch the trash closely! “NO!” doesn’t work anymore. I’m having to swat his arm and although he gets quite upset, it doesn’t stop him!

I’m watching the coverage in New Orleans. All these crazy people that are staying and partying! What’s up with that? I’m so scared for these people, but then I hear about these people who don’t care. It’s NUTS! I guess all I can do is pray for them. We’re supposed to be leaving on our cruise out of New Orleans in October. Hmm…don’t think that will happen!

Feeling Really Cool!

This afternoon I was on my way to get Drew from after school. I was not in the greatest of moods and was happy to hear one of my favorite songs when I got in the car. I’m so embarrassed to say it was Jessica Simpson’s “With You”. I turned it up pretty loud and was singing it. The windows were rolled up in my car. It’s hot here, so I had the AC blowing full blast. Anyway, so I’m at the stop light, blaring Jessica Simpson, not thinking about anything really. I’m just singing away. I look over and I see these 4 guys in 2 different cars just watching me. Muhahahaha! Oh my gosh. At first I played like I didn’t see them, but as I turned my head in the other direction, I couldn’t help but break out in laughter myself! I’m laughing right now just thinking about the looks on their faces! I looked back at them and smiled. It was just funny. So my point…well…I’m not exactly sure, except that it should be ok for an almost 30 year old woman to lose herself, and her troubles in a song sung by Jessica Simpson!!

This morning during Sunday School, we took 16 kids to Burger King! It is our 2nd to last class and then they move up to the 6th grade class. We’re taking a break from Sunday School after that!! I’m still not feeling GREAT, so I’m trying to rest and not make it worse.

I’m watching Alison’s Baby on TLC. It is quite interesting and thought provoking! I just know how hard it is with a newborn being a person with no disabilities. but to be a mom with no arms and underdevloped legs and no husband. WOW!! She’s very courageous!

I’m so sick!

I’m nauseous and have been sweating so bad! Gross! It’s awful! My stomach continues to rumble and feel over turned. I had a workshop this morning for work from 8-12 and was not feeling good then! I’m even worse now. I can’t get comfortable and it’s hard to sleep! UGH!
