Forgot to tell ya!

I’m going to be an Aunt!! Well, I already am, but this time on my side of the family! My brother, Mel, is having a baby in late January/early February! It’s a boy! I’m so excited for him. My mom called me Sunday and told me. Many people are not as thrilled as I am, because he and his girlfriend are young and are not married. I look at in a way that it’s done. There’s nothing I can do about it except be happy for them and pray for them. A positive vibe is alway helpful (or at least I think so!)

Parent Teacher Conference

Today Rob and I went to Drew’s teacher conference. I’m alway so nervous going into those for some reason. I guess as a teacher, I’m nervous for each conference with my students so maybe that why. It’s just the unknown. Of course, everything is great. He’s doing awesome and his teacher is awesome! I’m so happy he has this year. He’s reading above grade level, which is awesome! I’m real proud of him.

Wednesday Mind Hump

I’m going to take my boys trick or treating. It will be Monkey Boy’s first Halloween to go trick or treating. It just stinks it’s on a Monday night!

2. What’s the funniest or craziest costume you’ve ever worn for Halloween? If you can’t remember what you wore, you can tell us about a costume you saw someone else wear.
I was a playboy bunny with a black spandex leotard and bunny ears (that’s when I wasn’t fat!)

3. What’s your favorite scary movie?
I really don’t like scary movies, but Silence of the Lambs is one of the scariest to me.

4. What’s your favorite kind of candy?
During Halloween it’s candy corn!

I’m awake!!!

Yes, it is 6:30 on a weekend and I’ve actually been up since 5:00! I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I woke up with a pounding headache and got up to take medicine. I wasn’t in the mood to go back to sleep so I started cleaning! I picked up all the toys all over the down stairs, organized the pantry, cleaned the kitchen, and now I’m blogging! In turn…I’ll be napping later today after TV Boy’s soccer tournament:-)
