Saw this over sactownelly and decided to check it out, because yes, I’m bored. Well really not bored just in denial that I have things to do and don’t feel like it!
Go do one for yourself over at Bless this chick!
I went into the Laundry room yesterday to get something and this is NOT what I was hoping to see! I nearly screamed out loud it was so big. Huge! Monsterous! Gigantic! Nasty! Soon after that I’m hoping he died from being drowned by bug spray.

After some research, I found this:

The views from our room were awesome!

We stayed really busy and got tons of walking in. TV Boy enjoyed playing in the Olympic rings of water at Centennial Park, while Monkey Boy moped after getting 16 drops of water on him.
Here’s TV Boy standing in front of the Olympic rings. The tall cylindrical building in the background is our hotel, where we stayed.
It was too bad I didn’t lose a couple pounds, but I’m sure eating at a bunch of wonderful restaurants didn’t help.

We enjoyed eating while we were there though. We ate at The Real Chow Baby, Benihana, and The Varsity just to name the highlights.
We also saw lots of wonderful things at The NEW World of Coke and Georgia Aquarium.

We headed over to the new area called Atlantic Station, where we discovered an IKEA, which was an amazing store. Luckily, we resisted the urge to empty our wallets, but we may head back to hunt some good deals.
Rob had a nice Father’s Day. He was excited to get the 1st two seasons of 24, which is one of his new TV addictions. You can see the full set of weekend pictures here.
Uh! Why don’t I learn my lesson! You can’t take paint that’s been sitting for a couple of years and expect it to actually match when you’re trying to make touch ups. I had this problem at the old house. Today I had the brilliant idea to find the old paint and do some “touch-ups.” The people who lived here before us had nearly 20 buckets of paint that they left, most of which are different shades of gray. I found the colors that I thought I needed, proceeded to stir each one up and then go make the touch-ups. ACKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!! They don’t match like they’re supposed to. So now, it looks like I’ll be painting this weekend. More on this later…
My friend with triplets was featured on Imagining Ourselves with her triplets.
I got a job offer (teaching 4th grade Reading and Alabama history) and I should be signing the papers Monday!! It’s about 30 minutes from here in a very small school district. I’ll keep you updated and for family, I’ll let yall in on the details soon!

My Mom says I haven’t been writing lately, which is true. I’ve been pretty quiet. I thought I’d write and make my Mom happy. 🙂 Everybody say, “Hi, Mom!” and root her on to comment on here. You can do it!!
Anyway, Drew has been quite busy the last couple weeks. This week he’s going to Camp Invention during the day and Vacation Bible School in the evening. Last week he did Sports Academy Camp in the morning and Cub Scouts Twilight Camp in the afternoon. He’s ready to have time to relax and chill out.
This weekend should be fun, because we’re going on a long weekend in Atlanta.
