My neighbor just posted some prayer requests and you can never have too many prayers. Pray for Hope & Stellan who desperately need your prayers. Please check out their blogs to see specific prayer wishes.
Please feel free to pass this on.
After making the Gingerbread house, I had the boys go out in the yard and look for some pine cones. I painted them. Then pulled out some glittery thingys and some glue. The boys decorated them and we placed them on the table wear the food was going to be on Christmas Day.
This was before all the food got put on the table.
Good times! Family, food, and lots of fun.
Rob got:
So Christmas was good. Lots of family, fun, and food! And just so I can look back and remember, here’s what I got:
My lil’ sis is growing up and I just can’t believe how fast time flies. It seems not long ago I was walking around jr. high as happy as can be that I FINALLY had a little sister!
As you can see from the picture, she’s got a ring on her finger and is now engaged to be married in 2010. Cool year to get married. I wished I lived closer so I could help her plan and stuff.
This will be my final Christmas Decor entry.

Russian nesting Santas, a gift from my Granny. I just noticed I didn’t take the smallest one out, because there should be 5!
Lennox monogramed train. I just noticed the 2nd half is turned the wrong way! LOL
Millenium Collector’s edition Santa (Stays out year round)
When I got this apple hanger for the kitchen, I wanted to find some cute stuff to hang on them for Christmas. The hand crotched stockings were from a student who I taught my very 1st year of teaching. The snowman and santa I purchased through some catalogue. Don’t remember which one.
CUTE coffee cup and spoon given to me by a sweet, sweet student. (UPDATE: This broke while moving Christmas stuff up to the attic in 2009.)
Spring Snowman, which hangs on my microwave stand.
The silver candle holders was a “free gift” from Ulta a few years ago on Black Friday. The candles I purchased just for these. This is on our entry way table.
Haha! This is a wreath I made in Camp Fire way back when. It’s held up quite nicely!
Here is our new tree skirt that I purchased in 2007, our first Christmas in this house.
We have 2 tree toppers, but here is our Angel. Believe it not we got her for a couple bucks when a local jeweler was going out of business. She doesn’t light up, but we still love her.
This edition of my Christmas Decor showcases my Auburn decorations.
This is an Auburn candy cane, which I keep hanging on the microwave stand year round! I guess I should put it on the Christmas tree, but I just never moved him from his normal spot! This was given to us by a coworker of Rob’s who’s son is into glass working. I love it!
My Millenium Auburn Santa that Rob gave me and I absolutely LOVE it! I keep it out year round. Although last year he got put away. 🙁
The first year I was in Auburn, Rob and I went out and bought some Christmas decorations to go with stuff my Grandparents mailed us. This was one very special ornament that we found. War Eagle!
Rob’s Dad and Step Mom gave us this one Christmas. We love adding new ornaments to the tree each year.
Aubie is so cool! This was a stocking stuffer that Santa left one year. Another favorite of mine.
Here’s the newest one I guess. Looks like we got it 2004, a very special year in Auburn football history.
