This is one of my favorite pens which was a gift from someone. Honestly, I can’t remember who gave it to me (SO not like me to not remember who gave me a gift, especially something so beautiful and something that is so beloved.) I always thought it was so pretty and when I got a case for my bible where I could keep pens, I decided this was a perfect pen to keep in there. It makes me happy every time I see it. It no longer works, but I still keep it in my bible.

Today around 4:30, I’m leaving to go on my Walk to Emmaus. I will be free of cell phones, a watch, the time (period), my camera, my laptop, any electronics. I will return Saturday night. A few weeks ago when I found out that I was going, I went ahead and scheduled my posts for while I’m gone, so show me some love while I’m gone! 🙂

Drew is… excited to have made the Junior High Track team.
Alex is… excited to have won both the Pack Pinewood Derby and the District Pinewood Derby this past weekend.
From the kitchen… homemade bread that I made over the weekend. (recipes coming soon)
I am wearing… denim capris, Auburn t-shirt, black leather sandals, glasses, hair in pony tail.
I am creating… NO expectations of my time at Emmaus.
I am going… to the Walk to Emmaus this week!
I am reading… through Bible verses, trying to determine which verses I want to memorize.
I am hoping… for nice weather while I’m gone.
I am hearing… phone conversations.
Around the house… a little cleaner after my “cleaning spree” this weekend.
