Admiration

Over at Susie’s blog, she had a post about people that inspired her and I thought it was great idea, so I decided to do something similar! I made a collage of people I admire. Can you tell me who these people are:

Row 1
Steve Jobs – CEO of Apple – He has helped shape the great technology we have in computers today.
Bono – Lead singer of U2 – He’s a great humanitarian.
Clara Barton – founder of the Red Cross

Row 2
John Wesley – founder of the United Methodist Church
Laura Bush – the First Lady – I love the way she holds herself; confident and proud. She’s a great role model for any young girl and even for grown women.
Michael J. Fox – not only one of the greatest actors of all time, but a stonch leader in finding ways to help find cures for Parkinson’s Disease.

Row 3
Hans Zimmer – German born composer. He’s amazing and I see him as brilliant. A couple favorites: Pearl Harbor, The Lion King
Rudy Guliani – past mayor of New York City. I thought he handled the tragedy on 911, with great courage.
Shel Silverstein – an amazing children’s author & illustrator.

  1. Susie says:

I know it’s awful that I can’t identify more than this, but I only know Bono, First Lady Laura Bush, Michael J. Fox, and Rudy Guiliani. Can’t wait to see who the others are!

  2. Karen says:

I’ve had Bono on my mind all day- and here he is!!

We have a lot in common! (Me and you, not me and these great people!)

I didn’t recognize Hans Zimmer, but I do love his music. The Gladiator soundtrack is one of my all-time favorites.

  4. Neat list, Love Hans Zimmer, great soundtracks, he only does quality movies too. These are some adirable people. I also really like Laura Bush, one of the best first ladies I believe ever!
