Today on my “Places I’ve Been…” series post, I’m sharing about our day at Turner Field watching our beloved Braves play.
On Labor Day this year, we went to the Braves Game. It was a blistering hot day, but we managed to enjoy ourselves even though the Braves lost to the Phillies.
We found our seats, which were great by the way. Then, we got up to go see if we were early enough to see the pep rally that they do out on the concourse.
On the way around to the concourse we saw Jerome Jurenovich and Paul Byrd on TV.
We made our way around to find out that we had missed the pep rally, but there was so live music. Big Daddy Love was performing.
I caught a play in action.
A fan favorite…Freddy Freeman
Even though it was super hot, we had a great time. The one great thing about Turner Field is that they allow you to bring in drinks (plastic bottles only and no hard coolers allowed) and food, so you don’t have to spend a fortune once you get inside.
BIG thanks to the S family for giving us these tickets! Y’all are awesome!

Looks like an awesome day! Thanks for sharing!
We have a local team, I don’t know minor or double A…I don’t know. We always have a great time going to the ballpark.
