January’s End of the Month Summary {2014}

This month I was happy about: was that we got some snow!!

This month I was sad about: Rob and Monkey getting the flu.

Something I accomplished this month was: surviving this crazy month.

Status on being “healthy”: didn’t ‘diet’ or exercise, hope to get motivated in February.

Something new I did was:

This year I’m going to rate the books & movies. Here’s my rating system:
♥ ♥ = Love it! A must read/see!
♥ = Really good! Highly recommend.
&#10003 &#10003 = Good, not great
&#10003 = Not much to talk about
X = Awful. Total waste of time

Books I read were:
Picture Perfect by Jodi Picoult – Didn’t get to finish, but hope to.
Someday, Someday, Maybe by Lauren Graham (Mom from Gilmore Girls)-Did Not Finish – It was just a slow start and I couldn’t get in to it, so why waste time on a book I’m not enjoying!

Movies I watched were:
Superman

TV Shows I watched were:
The Lying Game (Season 1 & 2 Netflix)
Switched at Birth (1st couple episodes of Season 1 on Netflix)
The Bachelor Wedding (ahhhhh, so sweet)
Revolution
Criminal Minds
CSI
NCIS
NCIS: LA
Hawaii 50
Bones
Alaska State Troopers
Other random shows…

My favorite song this month was: meh…didn’t have one that I can think of.

What I remember about work was: not much of anything.

A lesson I learned this month was: there are days that my Dad’s memory will linger and make it hard to get over his death.

A “new” friend and I: ate lunch together and commiserated over the passing of our Dads last month.

My favorite pic (not previously posted) that I took was:

SkiTripDay2-2014 - 66

I had tons of fav pics this month, so it’s hard to pick just one.

I cooked: Meatball Sub casserole, Buffalo Chicken casserole, and other stuff…can’t remember.

The boys were: so happy to have had the opportunity to go skiing.

My husband was: better at skiing now that he was as a teenager.

The thing I’ll remember most from this month was: the ski trip and snow days!
