229.365 {Unexpected Trip to the Dr. for Teenager}

Today Teenager woke up and he was wrenching pain. It’s not often I see him cry, but this morning he did. I was convinced based what he was describing that it was ‘just a crick in his neck.’ However, when I asked him if he wanted to go to the urgent care, he didn’t hesitate when he said yes! On our way there, with every bump in the road and every tap of the break, he cringed and yelped in pain. I was trying to drive briskly, yet smoothly for a happy medium. We got there, didn’t wait too long, and found out I was exactly right. A ‘bad crick in the neck’ it was what he was suffering from. He was prescribed muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatories to help.
