One month ago today, I quit Diet Coke and really all sodas for that matter. I went cold turkey from May 5th on. Before that I was weaning myself off, but I knew the caffeine headaches would be brutal. They still were for about 2 1/2 weeks after I quit. Someday I satiated the headaches with a little sweet tea and some days I just took some Tylenol.
So what am I drinking instead? Mostly water, but some juice, milk, lemonade. Honestly, I haven’t really “missed” it like I thought I would. It’s just breaking that habit of ordering one with a meal and trying to figure out what to drink it’s place.
